A good historical fiction book if your into that sorta thing. The author does a good job portraying what life could have been for the people liveing in the 800's. The story tells of a young boy who was found by a christian village, and doesn't remember who his is or where he came from. Then two years later the village is pillaged by Norse warriors, and the boy is the only survivor and is taken by the vikings because the jarl favors him. The boy grows and learns the way of the Norse Gods and becomes one of them.
